WHO TO CONSULT? or, A Book of Reference for Invalids in Disordered Health, Difficult Cases, or Long-standing Disease, etc., etc. Royal 8vo., cloth, price 7s. 6d., free by post.

OPINIONS OF THE PRESS.

"This book is divided into two parts; the first containing a list of diseases to which the human frame is liable; the second, containing the names of the several medical gentlemen in London who are most celebrated for the treatment of these diseases, These diseases are arranged alphabetically, and underneath each disease are the names of the Doctors who are the most distinguished for their treatment. This is certainly a very valuable book and will be found in thousands of families a great boon. How many lives have been lost though not having a proper knowledge as to whom to Consult? Cavour may be mentioned as one It was strongly insisted upon in this country, and not without reason, at the time of his death, that if he had been properly treated, his life would have been saved. If this opinion was a correct one in reference to Cavour, how much more does it apply to thousands of others, who have infinitely less knowledge as to whom to consult. The compiler of this book deserves the best thanks of his country."- Weekly Review, Jan. 23rd, 1864.

"We can refer every unhappy invalid to this Book for advice upon the choice of a Medical attendant."-Derby Mercury, June 10th, 18 3.

"This is a work the want of which has been long felt, and which cannot be too highly valued, and there is no doubt that the book now before us will be made available in a multitude of instances, where suffering humanity may be in search of such a guide, nd life or limb might be lost for the runt of it. The difference between this and other medical works is, that it does not teach everyone to be their own Doctor, bus simply tells them how to select one. is published at an exceedingly molerate charge, and is altogether a most valuable producti.n.”— Oxford University Herald, Aug. 29th, 1863.
