AN ACT MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE COMPENSATION

Chap. 1
OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL COURT, FOR THE COM-
PENSATION OF CERTAIN OFFICERS THEREOF AND FOR EX-

PENSES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in

General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:

SECTION 1. The sums hereinafter mentioned are appro- Appropriations. priated, to be paid out of the treasury of the commonwealth from the ordinary revenue, for the purposes specified, for the fiscal year ending on the thirtieth day of November, nineteen hundred and fifteen, to wit:For the compensation of senators, forty-one thousand Senators,

For compensation for travel of senators, a sum not ex- Travel. ceeding thirty-two hundred dollars.

For the compensation of representatives, two hundred Representaand forty-one thousand dollars.

For the salary of Henry D. Coolidge, clerk of the senate, Clerk of the thirty-five hundred dollars.

For the salary of James W. Kimball, clerk of the house of Clerk of the representatives, thirty-five hundred dollars.

For the salary of William H. Sanger, assistant clerk of the Assistant clerk senate, twenty-five hundred dollars.

For the salary of Frank E. Bridgman, assistant clerk of Assistant clerk the house of representatives, twenty-five hundred dollars.

For such additional clerical assistance to the clerk of the Clerical senate as may be necessary for the proper despatch of public business, a sum not exceeding fifteen hundred dollars.
