The Assembly returned the bill (No. 9, Assembly reprint No. 750) entitled "An act to amend the Tax Law, in relation to taxation of the personal property of nonresidents" (Int. No. 9), with a message that they have concurred in the passage of the same with the following amendments:

Page 1, line 5, after the word "taxable," insert the words "subdivision one."

Page 2, line 1, after the word "state," insert "subdivision two." Same page, line 3, after the word "situated," insert "This subdivision shall not apply to money on deposit by or debts owing to such nonresidents nor shall it be construed as in any manner modifying or changing the law imposing a tax on real estate mortgage securities."
