On motion of Mr. Davis, and by unanimous consent, the rules were suspended and said bill ordered to a third reading and referred to the committee on affairs of cities, retaining its place on the order of third reading.

Mr. Keenan introduced a bill entitled "An act to amend the Insurance Law in relation to the standard fire insurance policy" (Int. No. 649), which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on insurance.

Mr. Fitzgerald introduced a bill entitled "An act to amend the Greater New York charter relative to the retirement from service of officers, clerks and employees in Bellevue and allied hospitals" (Int. No. 650), which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time.

Mr. Hawkins introduced a bill entitled "An act to permit the exemption from local taxation of buildings and other real estate improvements to an amount not exceeding $3,000" (Int. The Assembly sent for concurrence the following entitled bill: "An act to amend the Forest, Fish and Game Law in relation to the sale of wall-eyed and yellow pike in cities containing 1,000,000 or more inhabitants" (No. 1022, Rec.
