AUBURN AND HOMER MIDLAND.

Deputy State Engineer and Surveyor:

DEAR SIR-The Auburn and Homer Midland Railroad Company was organized, and articles of association filed in the Secretary of State's office, October 24, 1871, wherein it appears:

That the length of the road is 33 miles.

That the amount of capital stock is $1,000,000.00.

That over $1,000 per mile of the capital stock has been subscribed in good faith, and ten per cent thereon paid in.

There has been no change in these particulars since the organization of the company, nor has any thing been done toward the construction of the road, except making surveys and procuring rights of

way.

Several towns through and into which the road runs have consented to bond in aid of the road, and we are now waiting the result of efforts made to bond the others.
