FORM OF CAPTIONS OF DEPOSITIONS TAKEN BY TWO JUSTICES OF THE PEACE.

State of North Carolina, May 5th, A. D. 1852.

Wake County.

By virtue of the above commission to us directed, we, A B and C D, acting Justices of the Peace in and for the County and State aforesaid, have caused the persons therein named as witnesses in behalf of the plaintiff [or defendant as the case may be,] in the suit therein mentioned, to appear before us, on the day and date above specified, at the house of Y Z, in the city of Raleigh, in the county aforesaid: and they being first duly sworn according to law depose and say:

Note.-Each witness must sign his name at the end of his deposition and in presence of the Justices who certify, as to each one or all to-gether. The Commission must be prefixed; and the notice of the taking of the deposition be also filed in the papers.
