Unlawful for member of Text Book Commission to receive or accept any book or supplies from any person interested in the sale of such books or supplies. (7731 R. L. 1910)

It is a misdemeanor to enter into, create, or become, a member of any pool, trust or combination for the purpose of regulating or fixing the price of any books or supplies.. (7734 R. L. 1910)

It is a misdemeanor to solicit, trade, sell or offer for sale any of the articles mentioned in this article without having complied with the provisions of this article. (7738 R. L. 1910.)

Unlawful for any member of any school board or board of education to make any contract or agreement with another without first having filed the affidavits required by this article. (7739 R. L. 1910)

Unlawful for member of any school board or board of education to make any contract or to issue any warrant without having complied with the provisions of this article (7740 R. L. 1910), and a violation of this section is a misdemeanor. (7741 R. L. 1910)

It is the duty of the county attorney to prosecute any violation of this article. (7742 R. L. 1910)

COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY DEGREES. (Ch. 147, S. L. 1917.)

It is a misdemeanor to collect fees for matriculation, registration, tuition, books, or for other purposes, the inducement for which is a promise to grant any degree, when such institution has not been granted authority to grant degrees. (S. L. 1917, 237)

It is a misdemeanor to announce or advertise the granting of degrees when such institution has no authority to do so. (S. L. 1917, 237)

TEXT BOOKS.

It is a misdemeanor to teach any language, other than English, in any school, public or private, within the eighth grade. (S. L. 1919, 201)

State Fire Marshal.

It is a misdemeanor for a witness to fail to appear before the Fire Marshal when subpoenaed, or to fail to produce books and papers, or to be guilty of any contemptuous conduct. (S. L. 1911, 116)

It is a misdemeanor to disobey any lawful order of the Fire Marshal to remove any explosive or infiammable substance which is dangerous in case of fire. (S. L. 1911, 117)

It is a misdemeanor for any officer referred to in this act to fail to comply with any of the requirements hereof. 1911, 118)

• State Lands.

A violation of the provisions of this article, by the commissioners or by any appraiser or by any officer or agent selected to perform the duties required by this article, is a felony. (7165 R. L. 1910.)

LEASING OF.

It is a misdemeanor to commit waste, or to trespass upon the public lands of the State. (7182 R. L. 1910)

It is perjury to make any false affidavit, or to give false testimony before the secretary or the commissioners of the land office. (7188 R. L. 1910)

OIL, GAS AND MINERAL LANDS

It is a misdemeanor for lessee to fail to file release of lands after lease has terminated. (S. L. 1915, 605)

State Training School.

Aiding or abetting an inmate to escape from institution, or abducting inmate from any home to which he has been committed, is a felony. (7111 R. L. 1910)

State Library.

Unlawful to take from library, either with or without permission of librarian, or to violate the rules of the library board. A violation hereof is a misdemeanor. (7255 R. L. 1910)

State Board of Public Affairs.

It is a felony for a member of the Board of Affairs to take, receive, or accept, any rebate, percentage of contract, money, or other thing of value, from any person or firm offering or bidding for, or in the open market and seeking to make sales to said board. (8090 R. L. 1910)

State Board of Accountancy.

It is a misdemeanor for any person to hold himself out as an accountant without first having obtained a certificate under the provisions of this act. (S. L. 1917, 9)

It is a felony for any person holding a certificate under this act to make a false report. (S. L. 1917, 9)

State Agriculture Commission.

It is a misdemeanor to violate the provisions of this act. (S. L. 1913, 186)

State Funding Bonds.

To misappropriate funds is felony. (361 R. L. 1910) MUNICIPAL FUNDING Bonds.

Failure or refusal to levy or extend tax for, is misdemeanor (368 R. L. 1910)

Failure of county treasurer to extend tax on rolls is misdemeanor. (369 R. L. 1910)

Misappropriation of funds is misdemeanor. (372 R. L. 1910) It is a misdemeanor to sell or agree to sell any municipal bond for less than par value and accrued interest. (S. L. 1913, 380)

Statutes, Session Acts and Reports.

It is a misdemeanor for any State, county, township or district officer to fail to deliver to his successor in office all the volumes of laws that have come into his possession by virtue of holding such office. (8155 R. L. 1910)

Trade Marks and Labels.

Unlawful to counterfeit or imitate any label, trade mark, term, design, device or form of advertisement; or sell, offer for sale, use, or utter or circulate counterfeit or imitation of such label or trade mark belonging and adopted by another. (8211 R. L. 1910)

Unlawful to sell, offer for sale, advertise, or dispose of any goods, merchandise or other products of labor which bears any false, forged or imitation of any label or trade mark adopted by another. (8212 R. L. 1910)

Unlawful to file or be concerned in the filing of any false trade mark, design or label which belongs to another. (8214 R. L. 1910)

Unlawful to use or display any genuine label, trade mark, term or design of advertisement in any manner not authorized by the owner thereof. (8216 R. L. 1910)

Unlawful to use the name or seal of any person or firm in and about the sale of goods when not authorized. (8217 R. L. 1910)

Unlawful to sell or offer for sale any merchandise of any character made by convict labor unless same be accordingly labeled. (8219 R. L. 1910)

Transcript of County Records.

It is a felony to fail or refuse to, or to hinder or delay the copying of records, as provided in this article or to destroy, mutilate, conceal or remove such records required to be

copied, or to refuse to divulge the whereabouts of such records. (7301 R. L. 1910)

RESTORATION OF.

It is forgery to erase, alter, interline or interpolate any records in violation of this article. (7298 R. L. 1910.)

Trusts and Pools.

It is a felony to violate any of the provisions of this article. (8228 R. L. 1910)

POOLING BRIDGE CONTRACTS.

Unlawful for any person, firm, association or corporation to combine or pool bids and prices on construction of bridges or roads. (S. L. 1919, 337)

It is a felony to violate any of the provisions of this act. (S. L. 1919, 338)

Trust Companies.

Felony to use "trust" or "trust company" when such company does not possess paid-in capital. (S. L. 1919, 244.) Veterinary Medicine. (Practice of)

It is a misdemeanor to practice veterinary medicine, surgery or dentistry without having license recorded in the county where such practice is had. (S. L. 1913, 55)

It is a misdemeanor to practice veterinary medicine or surgery without a valid and unrevoked license. (S. L. 1913, 57)

Warehouses. (Grain Warehouses and Inspection)

It is a misdemeanor to conduct or operate a warehouse without a license, and filing such bond as is required by law. (8250 R. L. 1910)

It is a felony to issue receipts for property not then actually in store, or to issue any fraudulent receipt for such property. (8264 R. L. 1910; S. L. 1915, 684)

Unless otherwise provided, it is a misdemeanor to violate any of the provisions of this article. (8273 R. L. 1910.)

It is a misdemeanor for any inspector to be guilty of neglect of duty, or to knowingly or carelessly inspect or grade any

grain or other property subject to inspection. (8281 R. L. 1910)

It is a misdemeanor for any person to assume to act as inspector under this act, who has not been regularly appointed, or to fail to give bond and properly qualify. (8282 R. L. 1910)

Witnesses may be compelled to attend (8291 R. L. 1910) and testify in any proceeding authorized by law. (8292 R. L. 1910)

It is the duty of the county attorney to prosecute violations of this act. (8274 and 8293 R. L. 1910)

Fines collected under this act to be paid into the State treasury. (8294 R. L. 1910)

RECEIPTS.

Unlawful to issue receipts which do not state the ownership of the property. (S. L. 1915, 685)

Unlawful to deliver goods from warehouse when a negotiable receipt is outstanding. (S. L. 1915, 685)

Unlawful to negotiate or sell receipt for goods upon which there is a mortgage or lien, without notice to the purchaser of such receipt. (S. L. 1915, 685)

COTTON AND BROOM-CORN WAREHOUSES.
