Mr. Downing moved that the committee on affairs of cities be discharged from the consideration of Assembly bill (No. 137, Rec. No. 69) entitled "An act authorizing the commissioners of the sinking fund of the city of New York to cancel and annul all taxes which are now a lien upon the property of Saint Mark's Hospital of New York city, a charitable institution in the city of New York."

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said motion, and it was decided in the affirmative.

On mction of Mr. Downing, and by unanimous consent, said bill was substituted for Senate bill (No. 61, Int. No. 61), now on the order of third reading.

Mr. Davenport moved that the committee on taxation and retrenchment be discharged from the consideration of Senate bill (No. 586, Int. No. 552) entitled "Concurrent resolution of the Senate and Assembly proposing an amendment to section two of article ten of the Constitution, in relation to the taxation. of public service corporations," and that the said bill be amended, reprinted and recommitted to the committee on taxation and retrenchment.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said motion, and it was decided in the affirmative.

Mr. Lockwood moved that the committee on affairs of cities. be discharged from the consideration of Senate bill (No. 1426, Int. No. 1210) entitled "An act to amend the Insurance Law, in relation to investments and the disposition of certain securities now held as investments by insurance corporations," and that the said bill be amended, reprinted and recommitted to the committee on affairs of cities.

porations," and that said bill be amended, reprinted and recomImitted to the committee on affairs of cities.
