The bill (No. 899, Int. No. 809) entitled "An act to amend the Judiciary Law, in relation to salaries of the official interpreters in the court of general sessions of the peace in and for the county of New York," was read the third time, having been printed and upon the desks of the members in its final form at least three calendar legislative days prior to its final passage.

Mr. Speaker put the question whether the House would agree to the final passage of said bill, and it was determined in the affirmative, a majority of all the members elected to the Assembly voting in favor thereof, and three-fifths being present.

No. 466) entitled "An act to provide for the preparation, printing and distribution of a report of the dedication of the New York State central historical memorial, and reappropriating an unexpended balance to defray the expenses therefor," was read the third time, having been printed and upon the desks of the members in its final form at least three calendar legislative days prior to its final passage.

On motion of Mr. Neupert, said bill was recommitted to the committee on banks, retaining its place on the order of third reading.

The bill (No. 1205, Int. No. 1040) entitled "An act to authorize the Adjutant-General to reopen, try and determine the claim made by Anthony J. Ross, private, Company E, Seventyfourth Regiment Infantry, National Guard, for expenses resulting from injuries received during service," having been announced,

Mr. Neupert moved that said bill be recommitted to the committee on ways and means, with instructions to report the same forthwith, amended as follows:

On page 1, line 6, strike out the words "June eleventh, nineteen hundred and four" and insert the words "September twenty-first, nineteen hundred and five".

Mr. Speaker put the question whether the House would agree to said motion, and it was determined in the affirmative.

Mr. A. E. Smith, from the committee on ways and means, reported said bill amended as directed, and the same was ordered reprinted and placed on the order of third reading.

The bill (No. 1240, Int. No. 1073) entitled "An act to amend the Executive Law, in relation to examiners in the office of the Comptroller," was read the third time, having been printed and upon the desks of the members in its final form at least three calendar legislative days prior to its final passage.
