Mr. Duell introduced a bill (Int. No. 108) entitled “An act to amend the Personal Property Law, in relation to stock dividends and distributions," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on the judiciary.

Mr. Duggan introduced a bill (Int. No. 109) entitled "An act to amend the Labor Law, in relation to period of rest at night for female minors," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on labor and industry.

Mr. Pitcher introduced a bill (Int. No. 110) entitled "An act to amend the County Law, and the Legislative Law, in relation to eliminating the publication of session laws in newspapers,” which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on internal affairs of towns, counties and public highways.

Mr. Towner introduced a bill (Int. No. 111) entitled "An act to amend the Judiciary Law, in relation to salaries of confidential clerks to Supreme Court justices in the ninth judicial district,” which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on the judiciary.

Mr. Tolbert introduced a bill (Int. No. 112) entitled "An act to amend the Greater New York charter, in relation to temporary transfer of employees," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on affairs of cities.

Mr. Towner moved that the Senate do now adjourn.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said motion, and it was decided in the affirmative.

Whereupon, the Senate adjourned.

Mr. Thayer introduced a bill (Int. No. 115) entitled "An act to amend the Poor Law in relation to the treatment and maintenance in sanitariums of tubercular poor," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on internal affairs of towns, counties and public highways.
