REVISED RATES OF PILOTAGE, as approved by the Governor, with the advice of the Council, and proclaimed by publishment, under section. seventeen, chapter one hundred and seventy-six of the Acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-two. OCTOBER 23, 1866. "ORDERED, That section sixteen of the 'General Regulations for Pilotage,' contained in chapter one hundred and seventy-six of the Acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-two, be amended so as to read as follows: “SECT. 16. All national vessels, except those of the United States, both inward and outward, shall pay in all parts of the Commonwealth, when they shall employ a pilot, four dollars per foot for fifteen feet or less draught of water, and five dollars per foot for over fifteen feet draught of water." JANUARY 3, 1867. "ORDERED, That section fifteen of the 'General Regulations for Pilotage,' contained in chapter one hundred and seventy-six of the Acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-two, be amended so as to read as follows: "SECT. 15. All passenger steam vessels, regulated by the laws of the United States, sailing under a coasting license, and carrying a pilot, commissioned by United States Commissioners, are exempt from payment of compulsory pilotage." APRIL 24, 1867. "ORDERED, That for the period of one year from and after the passage of this order, the rates for pilotage, as provided in chapter one hundred and seventy-six of the Acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-two, be so amended that the pilotage from the ports of New Bedford and Fairhaven to Clark's Point Lighthouse, both inward and outward, shall be fifty cents per foot, instead of thirty-five cents, as is now provided, and that the pilotage from the sea, inward, to abreast of Clark's Point Lighthouse, shall be two dollars and twenty-five cents per foot, instead of one dollar and ninety cents, as is now provided."
