The journal of Thursday, March 26th, was read and approved. Mr. Fearon introduced a bill (Int. No. 1473) entitled "An act to amend the Membership Corporations Law generally," with was read the first time and by unanimous consent was also read the second time and referred to the committee on general laws.

Mr. Hewitt introduced a bill (Int. No. 1474) entitled "An act making appropriations for the office of the State Treasurer and for the naval militia in addition to those heretofore made," which was read the first time and by unanimous consent was also read the second time.

On motion of Mr. Hewitt, and by unanimous consent, the rules were suspended, and said bill ordered to a third reading.

The Assembly sent for concurrence the bill (No. 1950, Rec. No. 513) entitled "An act to amend the Insurance Law, in relation to the investment of insurance companies other than life," which was read the first time and by unanimous consent was also read the second time.

On motion of Mr. Knight, and by unanimous consent, the rules were suspended and said bill ordered to a third reading.

Also, a bill (No. 2020, Rec. No. 514) entitled "An act to amend the County Law, in relation to the powers and duties of the register of the county of Bronx," which was read the first time and by unanimous consent was also read the second time.

No. 516) entitled "Concurrent resolution of the Senate and Assembly proposing an amendment to article seven of the Constitution, in relation to the creation annually for ten years of a debt or debts of the State to provide moneys for the acquisition of real property and the construction of buildings, structures or improvements," which was read the first time and by unanimous consent was also read the second time.
