The Assembly bill (No. 1336, Rec. No. 460) entitled "An act to amend chapter seven hundred of the Laws of nineteen hundred and twenty-one, authorizing the board of estimate and apportionment of the city of New York to construct a tunnel for freight

and passenger purposes under New York bay between the boroughs of Richmond and Brooklyn," was read the third time.

No. 453) entitled "An act to amend the Workmen's Compensation Law, in relation to pneumoconiosis (silicosis)," was read the third time.

NINE O'CLOCK AND TWENTY-FIVE MINUTES

The Senate again met.

The Assembly sent for concurrence a resolution, in the words following:

Resolved (if the Senate concur), That a respectful message be sent to the Governor, requesting the return to the Assembly of Assembly bill (No. 392, Rec. No. 140) entitled "An act to amend the Conservation Law, in relation to the taxation of real estate acquired by the State for river regulation by storage reservoirs," for the purpose of amendment.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said resolution, and it was decided in the affirmative.

Ordered, That the Clerk return said resolution to the Assembly with the message that the Senate has concurred in the passage of the same.

Mr. Thompson, from the committee on conservation, to which was referred the Assembly bill introduced by Mr. Lambert (No. 1908, Rec. No. 401) entitled "An act to amend the Conservation Law, in relation to the size of catch of muskalonge," reported in favor of the passage of the same, which report was agreed to.

On motion of Mr. Thompson, and by unanimous consent, the rules were suspended and said bill ordered to a third reading.

Mr. Nicoll, from the committee on civil service, to which was referred the Assembly bill introduced by Mr. Lambert (No. 1833, Rec. No. 431) entitled "An act to amend the Civil Service Law, in relation to pensions of members of a police force," reported in favor of the passage of the same, which report was agreed to.

On motion of Mr. Nicoll, and by unanimous consent, the rules were suspended and said bill ordered to a third reading.

Mr. Hewitt. from the committee on finance, to which was referred the Assembly bill introduced by Mr. Harder (No. 678, Rec. No. 449) entitled "An act to amend the Conservation Law and the Public Lands Law, in relation to the membership of the State council of parks, determining the jurisdiction, control and management of certain State parks and parkways, and creating the Central New York State Parks Commission and the Taconic State Park Commission," reported in favor of the passage of the same, which report was agreed to.

On motion of Mr. Hewitt, and by unanimous consent, the rules were suspended and said bill ordered to a third reading.

Mr. Hewitt, from the committee on finance, to which was referred the Senate bill introduced by Mr. Kirkland (No. 805, Int. No. 768) entitled "An act to amend the Conservation Law, in relation to the number of game protectors, and making an appropriation therefor," reported in favor of the passage of the same, which report was agreed to.

On motion of Mr. Hewitt, and by unanimous consent, the rules were suspended and said bill ordered to a third reading.

The Senate bill (No. 1601, Int. No. 822) entitled "Concurrent Resolution of the Senate and Assembly proposing an amendment to section ten of article eight of the Constitution, in relation to the limitation of indebtedness of cities, was read the third time.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to the final passage of said bill, the same having been printed and upon the desks of the members in its final form for three calendar legislative days, and it was decided in the affirmative, a majority of all the Senators elected voting in favor thereof, and three-fifths being present as follows:
