JEFF TRULY was appointed to fill the vacancy thus caused. 2 Attorney-General MONROE MCCLURG resigned February 4, 1903, and WILLIAM WILLIAMS was appointed to fill the vacancy on the same day, and JAMES N. FLOWERS was then appointed Assistant Attorney-General. 3 EDWARD W. BROWN, Clerk, died September 19, 1903, and GEORGE C. MYERS was appointed to fill the vacancy September 22, 1903.
