The classification of express matter is divided into two classes: First class and second class. All articles of food are embraced in second class. The first class rates are the basis of all rates and the second class rates are seventy-five per cent. (75%) of the first class rates, except on certain commodities where this rate has been modified for intrastate traffic in South Carolina. The modifications to the above, as adopted by this Commission, are as follows: SECTION 1. Rate on the following commodities is sixty per cent. (60%) of the first class rate, viz.: Cabbage-Rate is fifty per cent. (50%) of the first-class rate. Note Coca-Cola, Pep-to-Lac, Pop, Soda Water and other similar aerated or carbonated beverages, in cases containing six dozen short pints, charge for 125 pounds per case.
