No. 1264) entitled "An act to authorize and empower the police commissioner of the city of New York to increase the pension of Thomas Flaherty, a former member of the police force heretofore relieved from service for permanent disabilities received in the performance of his duty while a member of such force on an annual pension, to such a sum as will not exceed the full compensation at the time of his retirement, to be paid from the pension fund of such force," was read the third time.
