The Assembly returned the resolution by Mr. Campbell relative to savings banks and their investments, etc., with a message that they have concurred in the passage of the same with the following amendments:

In last paragraph change "ten thousand" to "twenty thou sand" and ($10,000) to ($20,000).

Mr. Campbell moved to concur in the said amendments.

Page 2, between lines 6 and 7 insert:

Mr. Hewitt moved that the Senate concur in said amendments. The President put the question whether the Senate would concur in said amendments, and it was decided in the affirmative.

Line 5, strike out "nine" and insert "eighty-eight ", strike out "twenty-four" and insert "twenty-seven".

Page 2, line 8 after "three" insert "condemnation". Line 15, before "commissioners" insert "condemnation". Line 18, before "commissioners" insert "condemnation". Page 3, line 9, before "commissioners" insert "condemnation". Said bill as amended was read the third time and passed, having been printed and upon the desks of the members in its final form at least three calendar legislative days prior to its final passage. No. 243) entitled "An act to amend chapter five hundred and sixteen of the Laws of nineteen hundred and twenty-six, entitled 'An act establishing the office of register of deeds in and for the county of Queens, and providing for the election of a register of deeds,' in relation to what deeds may be recorded."

The vote upon the final passage of said bill having been reconsidered, on motion of Mr. Hendel said bill was recommitted to the committee on internal affairs of towns, counties and public highways with instructions to report the same forthwith, amended, the title being amended to read as follows: "An act to amend chapter five hundred and sixteen of the Laws of nineteen hundred and twenty-six, entitled 'An act establishing the office of register of deeds in and for the county of Queens, and providing for the election of a register of deeds,' in relation to what instruments may be recorded."

Said bill as amended was read the third time and passed, having been printed and upon the desks of the members in its final form at least three calendar legislative days prior to its final passage.
