In order to be recommended for the degree of Bachelor of Science, the student must have passed satisfactory examinations in all the studies required in one of the four courses outlined in this department. Each course combines instruction in certain sciences and their application to the arts with certain other general studies deemed essential for a liberal education These courses are designed to furnish the fundamental instruction and to prepare students to pursue the technical professions to which they lead.
