Provided, That silver ore and all other ores contain-
ing lead shall pay a duty of 3/4 of one cent per pound
on the lead contained therein, according to sample
and assay at the port of entry. The method of
sampling and assaying to be that usually adopted for
commercial purposes by public sampling works in
the United States. (See Lead in Pigs) (G. A. 485,

provided for, when imported from such country,
shall remain the same as fixed by the law in force
