“Old River,” running on the south and west side of what is known on the maps of public surveys as Huntoon's Island," be, in connection with the St. Johns river, the boundary line between Volusia and Orange counties. (h)

SEC. 33. There shall be and is hereby constituted a county Orange county. by the name of Orange, and the said county shall be bounded as follows: (i) Commencing on the west side of Lake George where the range line dividing ranges twenty-six and twentyseven strike said lake; thence south on said range line to the line dividing townships seventeen and eighteen; (j) thence west on said township line to the Ocklawaha river; (k) thence up said Ocklawaha river to its head; thence to the line dividing (1) ranges twenty-six and twenty-seven; thence south along said range line to the line dividing townships twenty-five and twenty-six, south; thence east along the township line to the line dividing ranges twenty-seven and twenty-eight, east ; thence in a direct line to the point where the line dividing townships twenty-seven and twenty-eight, south, intersects the line dividing ranges twenty-eight and twenty-nine, east; thence east along the township line to the western boundary of Brevard county; thence north along the western boundary of Brevard county to the line dividing townships twenty-five and twenty-six; thence east along said line to the St. Johns river; thence northward up said river to the point of beginning. SEC. 34. All that portion of Marion county which lies south Sumter county. of the line dividing townships seventeen and eighteen shall comprise the county of Sumter. (n)

SEC. 35. The boundary lines of Sumter county are as follows: Boundaries Commencing on the Ocklawaha river where the township line defined. dividing townships seventeen and eighteen intersects said river; thence west along said township line to the Withlacoochee river; (n) thence south up said Withlacoochee river to the mouth of Little Withlacoochee river; thence up said Little Withlacoochee to the head of the same; thence east to the meridian line; thence along said meridian line south to the Withlacoochee river where the line (o) dividing ranges twentytwo and twenty-three crosses the same; running thence up the main channel of said river to the line dividing sections six and seven in township twenty-five, south of range twenty-four, east; and thence east along the section lines to the line dividing ranges twenty-six and twenty-seven, east; (p) thence north along said range line to the head of the Ocklawaha river; thence down said river to the place of beginning. (q) SEC. 36. The district of country bounded as follows, to wit:

Beginning at the mouth of the Big Withlacoochee river ; thence up said river to the junction of the Little Withlacoochee river; thence up said Little Withlacoochee to the head of the same; thence east to the meridian line; thence along said meridian line south to the Hillsborough river; thence down said river to the line dividing townships numbered twenty-six and twenty-seven, south; thence due west along said line to the Gulf of Mexico; thence along said Gulf to the place of beginning, including all the lands and islands which said river lines and Gulf may inclose, shall constitute and form the county of Hernando. (r)

SEC. 37. The district of country bounded as follows, viz: Commencing on the Gulf of Mexico at the line dividing townships twenty-six and twenty-seven; (s) thence east along said line to the line dividing ranges twenty-two and twenty-three; (t) thence south along said line to the line dividing townships thirty-two and thirty-three; (u) thence west along said line to the south bank of Tampa bay; thence in a direct line to a point midway between Egmont and Passage Key in the Gulf of Mexico; (v) thence along the coast to the place of beginning, shall constitute a county to be called Hillsborough. (w)

SEC. 38. The county of Polk shall be and the same is hereby marked and bounded as follows: Commencing at the point where the range line that divides ranges twenty-two and twenty-three strikes the line that divides townships thirtytwo and thirty-three; thence east along said line to where it strikes the Kissimmee river; thence up said river along its western bank to Lake Kissimmee; thence meandering the southern and western bank of said lake to Lake Cypress, and meandering said Lake Cypress (r) to the township line divid ing townships twenty-seven and twenty-eight; thence west along said line to the range line dividing ranges twenty-eight and twenty-nine; thence in a direct line to a point where the range line dividing ranges twenty-seven and twenty-eight intersects the line dividing townships twenty-five and twentysix; (y) thence west along the said township line to the point where the dividing line between ranges twenty-six and twentyseven intersects the line dividing townships twenty-five and twenty-six; thence north along the range line to the line dividing sections one and twelve in township twenty-five, range twenty-six; thence west along the southern boundary of Sumter county to the Withlacoochee river where the line dividing ranges twenty-two and twenty-three cross the same;

(e)

SEC. 40. So much of the State of Florida as is included Manatee within the following boundaries shall constitute the county of county. SEC. 42. So much of the State of Florida as is situated south of the county of Manatee and west of the county of Dade shall constitute the county of Monroe. (j)
