To general account money advanced :

For this sum, being amount of unpaid bonds of the State of
Missouri, held in trust by the Secretary of the Interior, for
various Indian tribes, as per statements numbered 1 and 2,
transmitted to the Secretary of the Treasury, by Hon. 0.
H. Browning, by letter, dated the 15th October, 1867.
Principal amount of 5 per cent. coupon bonds, mentioned
in statement No. 2, matured the 17th day of May, 1862..
Interest on said bonds from January 1, 1861, to May 17, 1862,
the date of their maturity......

Principal amount of 5 per cent. coupon bonds mentioned in
statement No. 2, matured the 23d day of October, 1862....
Interest on said bonds from January 1, 1861, to October 23,
1862, the date of their maturity.

Interest on $104,000 00 6 per cent. coupor bonds, mentioned
in statement No. 1, not yet matured, from the 1st January
1861, to July 1, 1862, the time when it appears from the
accompanying certificate of the Third Auditor, the United
States were indebted to the State of Missouri in a sum
greater than the principal of said bonds, which sum has not
yet been paid by the United States to the State of Missouri
To balance due the State of Missouri......

Transfer Settlement.

By general account money advanced :

For this sum, being amount debited the State of Missouri, in settlement of this date for amount of unpaid bonds of the State of Missouri, held in trust by the Secretary of the Interior, for various Indian tribes, as per statements numbered 1 and 2, transmitted to the Secretary of the Treasury, by Hon. O. H. Browning, Secretary of the Interior, by letter dated October 15, 1867.

Principal amount of 51 per cent. coupon bonds mentioned in statement numbered 2, matured the 17th day of May, 1862....

Interest on said bonds from the 1st of January, 1861, to May 17, 1862, the date of their maturity.........

Principal amount of 5 per cent. coupon bonds mentioned in statement num-
bered 2, matured 23d day of October, 1862....
Interest on said bonds from January 1, 1861, to October 23, 1862, the date of
their maturity

Interest on $104,600 6 per cent. coupon bonds, mentioned in statement No. 1,
not yet matured, from January 1, 1861, to July 1, 1862, the time when it
appears from the accompanying certificate of the Third Auditor, the Uni-
ted States were indebted to the State of Missouri in a sum greater than
the principal of said bonds, which sum has not yet been paid by the Uni-
ted States to the State of Missouri........
