Educ T5398.46.404 4 HAKYARD COLLEGE LIBRARY Entered according to Act of Congress, in the year 1846, by In the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the District of Massachusetts. ADVERTISEMENT. THIS volume is intended to follow "The Ministry of Christ," as a manual for Sunday Schools, and in its plan resembles that work. The main object is to give Luke's account of the primitive church in the form of other histories. The few Notes are brief explanations; and the Questions are designed to suggest and direct inquiry, and not to be used mechanically at recitations. The Map supplies the place of geographical descriptions. To complete the proposed series of arrangements of the New Testament, for the use of the young, another volume, containing selections from the Epistles, will probably be prepared.
