JUDICIAL DEPARTMENTS.

FIRST DEPARTMENT to consist of the First Judicial District.
SECOND DEPARTMENT to consist of the Second Judicial District.

THIRD DEPARTMENT to consist of the Third, Fourth and Sixth Judicial Districts.

FOURTH DEPARTMENT to consist of the Fifth, Seventh and Eighth Judicial Districts.

THE GENERAL TERMS FOR 1876, APPOINTED UNDER ACT OF MAY 20, 1872 (CHAPTER 778), ARE AS FOLLOWS:

First Department.- On the first Mondays of January, March, May and October, at the Court House in the city of New York.

Second Department. - Second Mondays of February, September and December, at the Court House in the city of Brooklyn. Second Monday of May, at the Court House in the city of Poughkeepsie.

Third Department.-At the City Hall, in the city of Albany, on the second Tuesdays of January and November. At the Court House in the city of Binghamton, on the first Tuesday of May. At the Town Hall in Saratoga Springs, on the first Tuesday of September.

Fourth Department.-At the Court House in the city of Syracuse, on the first Tuesday of January. At the Court House in the city of Rochester, on the first Tuesdays of April and October. At the Court House in the city of Buffalo, on the second Tuesday of June.

DESIGNATION OF PRESIDING AND ASSOCIATE JUSTICES FOR THE FOUR JUDICIAL DEPARTMENTS, TO COMPOSE THE GENERAL TERMS, MADE BY THE GOVERNOR, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 408, LAWS OF 1870.

For the First Department, consisting of the First Judicial Department:

Counties of Columbia, Sullivan, Ulster, Greene,

Franklin, St. Lawrence, Clinton, Montgomery,
Hamilton, Fulton and Schenectady.

V.-Counties of Onondaga, Oneida, Oswego, Herkimer Jefferson and Lewis.

VI.-Counties of Otsego, Delaware, Madison, Chenango, Broome, Tioga, Chemung, Tompkins, Cortland and Schuyler.‡

TIMES AND PLACES FOR HOLDING THE CIRCUIT COURTS AND COURTS OF OYER AND TERMINER AND SPECIAL TERMS, FOR THE YEAR 1876, AND THE JUDGES BY WHOM THE SAME SHALL BE HELD.

Three Circuit Courts (to be known respectively as Part one. Part two and Part three) to be held on the first Mondays of January, February, March, April, May, June, October, November, and December, at the New Court House in the city of New York.

Courts of Oyer and Terminer.

On the first Mondays of February and November, at the place aforesaid.

Special Terms (for Equity Cases and Enumerated Motions.) On the First Mondays of January, February, March, April, May, June, October, November and December, at the place aforesaid. Special Term and Chambers (for Non-enumerated Motions and Chambers' Business).

On the first Monday of each month in the year.

KINGS.

First Monday of January, Pratt. First Monday of March, Gilbert. First Monday of April, Pratt. First Monday of May, Gilbert. First Monday of October, Dykman. First Monday of November, Barnard.

The March calendar will be continued through the April term until disposed of, and the April calendar will be continued through the May term unless sooner disposed of. The October calendar will be continued through the November term until disposed of.
