right of the "New-Hampshire Annual Register and U. S. Calen-
dar," known as "Lyon's Register, heretofore published by G.
Parker Lyon and E. C. Eastman, and will issue the work hereafter
in connection with the Political Manual. Back numbers of the
Manual can be furnished, to form complete sets.

No. 14-contains the vote by towns for President, 1868; Members
of Congress, March Election, 1869; Governor and Railroad
Commissioner, 1869; Councilors and Senators for 1869,
by districts; ratable polls, valuation of towns, 1868,
a list of the Courts, Banks, Postmasters, Se-

lectmen, Town-clerks, Clergymen, Physicians,
Dentists, Lawyers, Notaries, Sheriffs, Jus-

ALMANAC FOR 1870.

There will be six Eclipses this year-four of the Sun and two of the Moon. First, total eclipse of the Moon, Jan. 17; invisible in N. E. Second, eclipse of the Sun, Jan. 31; invisible in N. E. Third, eclipse of the Sun, June 28; invisible in our hemisphere. Fourth, a total eclipse of the Moon, July 12; invisible to us. Fifth, very small eclipse of the Sun, July 28 ; invisible to us. Sixth, total eclipse of the Sun, December 22; invisible to us.

MORNING AND EVENING STAR.

VENUS will be Evening Star till Feb. 28; then Morning Star till Dec. 8; then Evening Star to the end of the year. March the 12th MARS will be in conjunction with the SUN; it will then become Evening Star for the remainder of the year.
