Mr. Fearon moved that the committee on public service be discharged from the consideration of Senate bill (No. 466, Int. No. 452) entitled "An act to amend the Public Service Commission Law, in relation to the purchase and holding by a corporation organized under and pursuant to the provisions of the Transportation Corporations Law, of the capital stock of another cor

poration so organized," and that said bill be amended, reprinted and recommitted to the committee on public service.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said motion, and it was decided in the affirmative.

Mr. Thayer moved that the committee of the whole be discharged from the consideration of Senate bill (No. 356, Int. No. 350) entitled "An act to legalize and validate certain bonds of the city of Ogdensburg, to be issued for the construction of a school building in the fourth ward of said city, and providing for the payment of the same," and that said bill be amended, reprinted and recommitted to the committee of the whole.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said motion, and it was decided in the affirmative.

Mr. Webb moved that the committee on finance be discharged from the consideration of Senate bill (No. 527, Int. No. 327) entitled "An act to amend chapter nine hundred of the Laws of nineteen hundred and twenty-three, entitled 'An act to provide for the construction of a highway bridge across the Hudson river at Poughkeepsie, between the counties of Dutchess and Ulster, and for the construction of approaches thereto, and making an appropriation therefor,' in relation to improvements in South Water street in the city of Poughkeepsie, beneath and in the vicinity of such bridge," and that said bill be amended, reprinted and recommitted to the committee on finance.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said motion, and it was decided in the affirmative.

The Senate bill (No. 371, Int. No. 365) entitled "An act to amend chapter two hundred and five of the Laws of nineteen hundred and twenty-five, entitled 'An act making appropriations for the Commissioner of Farms and Markets for the payment of claims arising from the destruction of diseased animals, pursuant to the Farms and Markets Law,' in relation to appropriations for the payment of claims arising from the destruction of tuberculous animals," was read the third time.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to the final passage of the bill, the same having been printed and upon the desks of the members in its final form for three calendar legislative days, and it was decided in the affirmative, a majority of all the Senators elected voting in favor thereof, and three-fifths being present, as follows:
