After some time spent therein, the President resumed the chair, and Mr. Higgins, from said committee, reported in favor of the passage of the above named bills, the 15th, 20th, and 36th with amendments, which report was agreed to, and said bills ordered to a third reading.

The Senate also had under consideration the bill entitled as follows:

"An act to amend the Membership Corporations Law, in relation to cemeteries in Queens county."

Mr. Higgins, from said committee, reported the above named bill with the enacting clause stricken therefrom, which report was agreed to.

The Assembly returned the Senate bill (No. 1446, Int. No. 284) entitled "An act to amend the Farms and Markets Law, in relation to definition of vinegars and adulterated vinegars," with a message that it has reconsidered the vote upon the final passage of said bill, and has passed the same as amended by the Senate.

Ordered, That the Clerk deliver said bill to the Governor. The Assembly returned the Senate bill (No. 1176, Int. No. 601), entitled "An act to amend the Election Law, in relation to times of holding fall primaries and State and judicial district conventions, " with a message that it has reconsidered the vote upon the final passage of said bill, and has passed the same as amended by the Senate.

Ordered, That the Clerk deliver said bill to the Governor.

The Assembly returned Assembly bill (No. 1142, Senate Reprint No. 1430, Rec. No. 139) entitled "An act to amend chapter seven hundred and fifteen of the Laws of nineteen hundred and twenty-one, entitled 'An act to regulate the exhibition of motion pictures, creating a commission therefor, and making an appropriation therefor,' in relation to current event films," with a message that it has concurred in the amendments of the Senate thereto. Ordered, That the Clerk return said bill to the Assembly.

The Assembly returned the Senate bill (No. 1210, Int. No. 1066) entitled "An act to amend the Insurance Law, in relation to the powers of fraternal benefit societies."

Also, Senate bill (No. 1318, Int. No. 979) entitled "An act to amend the Town Law, in relation to lighting or lamp districts in towns of Orleans county."

Also, Senate bill (No. 1002, Int. No. 734) entitled "An act to authorize the town of North Elba, Essex county, to vote upon a proposition to borrow money for the construction of a town hall to be located at Saranac Lake, and, upon the adoption of such proposition authorizing the town board of such town to issue and sell town bonds to pay the cost of such building, and providing for the sale and payment of such bonds.'

Also, Senate bill (No. 427, Int. No. 419) entitled "An act to amend the State Finance Law, in relation to the issuance of bonds, creating State debts authorized by law for the elimination of railroad crossings at grade, pursuant to section fourteen of article seven of the Constitution."

Also, Senate bill (No. 754, Int. No. 706) entitled "An act to amend the Highway Law, in relation to the disposition of fines, penalties and forfeitures collected after arrest by a peace officer attached to a State department within a town outside of a city or village.'

Also, Senate bill (No. 530, Int. No. 507) entitled "An act to legalize, ratify and confirm the acts and proceedings of Fannie B. Andrews as acting or deputy county treasurer of Cattaraugus county, which might have lawfully been performed had she been the duly elected and qualified county treasurer of such county, relating to the duties of the office and the issue and sale of county bonds, notwithstanding chapter three hundred and eighty-three of the Laws of nineteen hundred and four or any other general or special law."

No. 1226) entitled "An act to provide for extending the bounds of the town of Harrison by annexing thereto a part of the town of Rye and village of Rye by vote of the electors and taxpayers in the territory proposed to be annexed and by.consent of the town board of the town of Harrison, and to provide for the government of the annexed territory, the making of a survey and a map of said territory, the apportionment of the town and village bonded indebtedness, the laying of main and lateral sewer pipes and the disposal of sewage that will accumulate within said area."

Also, Senate bill (No. 891, Int. No. 58) entitled "An act relating to co-operative corporations, constituting chapter seventyseven of the Consolidated Laws."

Also, Senate bill (No. 380, Int. No. 374) entitled "An act to release to Thomas G. Wornham the right, title and interest acquired by escheat through and on account of the death of William Edwards of, in and to certain lots, pieces and parcels of real estate to which the said decedent had and claimed title at the time of his death and located in the city of Rensselaer, Rensselaer county, New York," with a message that it has concurred in the passage of the same.

Ordered, That the Clerk deliver said bills to the Governor.

The President presented the report of New York State Bridge and Tunnel Commission, which was laid upon the table and ordered printed.
