The Assembly bill (No. 94, Rec. No. 1) entitled "An act making an appropriation for extra clerical service to new committees of the Senate and Assembly," was read the third time.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to the final passage of said bill, the same having been printed and upon the desks of the members in its final form for three calendar legislative days, and it was decided in the affirmative, a majority of all the Senators elected voting in favor thereof, and three-fifths being present, as follows:

No. 3) entitled "An act to amend the Highway Law, in relation to the repair, alteration or reconstruction of highway bridges by the State Commissioner of Highways, and authorizing the board of supervisors of the county or counties in which such bridges are located to appropriate and make available sufficient funds to pay the counties' share of the cost thereof," was read the third time.

Nusbaum against the State for the refund of excise and volume taxes paid pursuant to the provisions of sections eight and nine-a of the Liquor Tax Laws, as added by chapter nine hundred and eleven of the Laws of nineteen hundred and twenty, and repealing part of section two of chapter one hundred and fifty-five of the Laws of nineteen hundred and twentywhich was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on general laws.

Also, a bill (Int. No. 460) entitled "An act to amend the Highway Law, in relation to requiring indemnity bonds or insurance policies from owners of motor vehicles to be operated or driven

upon the public highways," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on internal affairs of towns, counties and public highways.
