This book is printed pursuant to resolution of the Senate, adopted February 10, 1909, as follows: Resolved, That the Clerk of the Senate prepare and cause to be printed for the use of the Senate a digest and Manual of the Rules of the Senate, and precedents thereunder, to be printed in the same form as the Clerk's Manual, and paid for out of the appropriation for contingent expenses of the Legislature. This volume has been carefully compiled after an examination of the Senate Journals from 1860 to 1909, and contains all the important rulings and precedents of the Senate established during that period. |
