Petitions on behalf of state. 7. Exchange of laws and reports with other states. SECTION 1. Short title and definitions. This chapter shall be known as the executive law. The office of the governor shall be known as the executive chamber, and his residence, as the executive mansion. § 2. Acting governor.-Every provision of law relating to the governor shall extend to the lieutenant-governor, and to the president of the senate, respectively, while acting as governor in pursuance of law. § 3. Private secretary of the governor.-The private secretary of the governor shall be appointed by the governor and shall be paid an annual salary of four thousand dollars. * So in the original. |
