The members of this Society shall be composed of such persons as are mentioned in the Act of Incorporation by the Legislature of the State, approved April 30th, AD 1877., and such other persons of both sexes as may be duly elected. Section 2. The active members shall be residents of the State, and shall be elected by ballot, or vice versa, as may be deemed expedient at any regular meeting.
