О аутору (2006)

Mary Ann Lamanna received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame in 1977. She came to UNO in 1977. Her research interests are in the areas of family and gender, and social policy and law. Her publications include a textbook in marriage and family and articles on family; reproductive issues; and women and the law. Teaching areas include: family, gender, and law and policy; also population and social psychology. Professor Lamanna's 2002 book EMILE DURKHEIM ON THE FAMILY has been named one of the "Outstanding Academic Titles, 2002" by Choice.
