AN ACT To increase the Capital Stock of the Boston and Providence Railroad Corporation. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives, in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 The Boston and Providence Railroad Corporation 2 are hereby authorized to increase their capital stock, 3 by an amount not exceeding four hundred and seventy 4 thousand dollars, by creating an additional number of 5 shares, not exceeding four thousand and seven hun6 dred, of one hundred dollars each; the same to be 7 assessed by instalments, from time to time, as the 8 directors shall find expedient. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives, in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECT. 1. All that part of the town of Brookfield, 2 in the county of Worcester, which lies westerly of the 3 line hereinafter described, is hereby incorporated into 4 a separate town, by the name of Fieldbrook; and the 5 said town of Fieldbrook is hereby vested with all the 6 powers, privileges, rights, and immunities, and shall 7 be subject to all the duties, and requisitions, to which 8 other towns are entitled and subjected by the consti9 tution and laws of this Commonwealth.
