Anfwer, There were twenty Penyworth more of the last Sort bought, than of the firft; the Remainder at the felling Price mentioned, will fetch but 16 d. whereas they coft me 20 d..

(107) In a Series of proportional Numbers the first is 5, the third 8; the Product of the fecond and third is 78,4: What is the Difference of the second and fourth?

(110) With 13 Gallons of Canary, at 6 s. 8 d. a Gallon, I mingled 20 Gallons of White Wine, at 5 s. a Gallon; and to these added 10 Gallons of Cyder at 35. a Gallon, at what Rate muft I fell a Quart of this Mixture, fo as to clear 10 Ꮰ Cent ? Anfwer, 16 d. (111) What Difference will there be to the Proprietors of an Aqueduct, between doubling an Expence, and halving a Profit? Answer, 4 to 1.
