CHAP. 509.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to John S. Raulett.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John S. Raulett, late of the United States steamship Florida, United States Navy, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, April 16, 1902.

White, late of Company K, First Regiment New Hampshire Volunteer Heavy Artillery, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Horatio N. Warren. States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Horatio N. Warren, late lieutenant-colonel One hundred and forty-second Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of seventeen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

McCoy, late lieutenant-colonel Eightythird Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension

laws, the name of Otillia M. Smoot, widow of George W. Smoot, late acting master's mate, United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of seventeen dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

CHAP. 514.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Edward S. Dickinson. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Edward S. Dickinson, late first lieutenant Company B, Tenth Regiment Missouri Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Alfred H. Van Vliet, late first lieutenant and adjutant Eleventh Regiment Michigan Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving, such pension to be paid to his duly constituted guardian.

Dustin, widow of Miles G. Dustin, late of Company E, Sixteenth Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month. Approved, April 16, 1902.

Moore, late of Company K, Eightieth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month and such higher rate or rates of pension as he may hereafter show himself to be entitled to under existing pension laws, the same to be paid to him without any deduction or rebate on account of former alleged overpayments or erroneous payments of pension.

McKinley, widow of William McKinley, late President of the United States, and pay her a pension at the rate of five thousand dollars per year, from and after the passage of this Act.
