Mr. Gibson offered the following resolution:

Resolved, That the Comptroller of the city and county of New York, forthwith after service hereof on him, report to the Senate why the resolution of the Senate passed on the 25th day of January last, requesting certain information from him has not been complied with; and that he is hereby required to comply with said resolution immediately; and that the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Senate cause personal service of this order to be made on said Comptroller forthwith.
