The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to the report of the committee of conference, and it was decided in the affirmative, a majority of all the members elected to the Senate voting in favor thereof, and three-fifths of said members being present, as follows:

Mr. Parsons, from the committee on canals, to which was referred the Senate bill entitled "An act to enlarge locks upon the Erie canal," reported that they have inserted the amendment as directed by the Senate. Mr. Lent moved to lay said report on the table.

Mr. Crowley moved that the committee on the judiciary be discharged from the further consideration of the bill entitled "An act to amend an act entitled 'An act to incorporate the city of Lockport,' passed April 11, 1865, relative to opening streets, and arrest of vagrants," and referred to the committee on municipal affairs.

On motion of Mr. Bennett, and by unanimous consent the rules were suspended, and the Assembly bill entitled "An act to amend the act
