CONVENTION COMMISSIONERS ΤΟ PREPARE DATAPRESIDENT OF SENATE EXPIRATION OF HIS TERM.
Upon the expiration of Hon. Robert F. Wagner's term as presiding officer of the Senate on January 1, 1915, he ceased to be a member of the commission to prepare data for the approaching Constitutional Convention.
Upon the assumption to office of Hon. Martin H. Glynn as Governor, Hon. Robert F. Wagner, at that time President pro tempore of the Senate, became presiding officer of the Senate by virtue of article 3, section 10 of the State Constitution. On January 1, 1915, Hon. Edward Schoeneck became LieutenantGovernor by election and President of the Senate (Constitution, article 4, section 7). Mr. Wagner had also been re-elected Senator from the sixteenth district.
May Hon. Robert F. Wagner continue now to serve as Commisioner to prepare data for the approaching Constitutional Convention?
Chapter 261 of the Laws of 1914, an act to provide for compiling and furnishing data to the delegates to a convention to revise and amend the Constitution and making an appropriation therefor, provides, in part, as follows:
