The Publisher begs to inform the Subscribers and the Public that twenty-six years having elapsed since the Work made its appearance, and the numerous applications for a New Edition, has induced him to print it verbatim from the original copy, in consequence of the recent death, in Australia, of the compiler, Mr. A. T. J. Martin.

The very favourable reception and the public opinion of the Work, when first published, was such that no commendation from the Publisher is now required.
