No. 362) entitled “An act to amend the Town Law, in relation to compensation of town auditors in certain towns," and that the said bill be amended, reprinted and recommitted to the committee on internal affairs of towns, counties and public highways.

No. 200) entitled "Concurrent resolution of the Senate and Assembly proposing an amendment to article one of the Constitution, in relation to proposed amendments to the Constitution of the United States," and that the said bill be amended, reprinted and recommitted to the committee on the judiciary.

Mr. Mullan moved that the committee on affairs of cities be discharged from the consideration of Senate bill (No. 404, Int. No. 392) entitled "An act to repeal chapter seventy-two of the Laws of eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, entitled 'An act to fix the compensation of inspectors of election, poll clerks and ballot clerks in the city of Utica,'" and that the said bill be committed to the committee on the judiciary.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said motion, and it was decided in the affirmative.
