The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said motion, and it was decided in the affirmative.

After some time spent therein, the President resumed the chair, and Mr. Mackrell, from said committee, reported in favor of the passage of the above named bills, the 12th, 17th and 36th with amendments, the title of No. 36 being amended, to read as follows:

"An act to amend chapter one hundred and eighty-two of the Laws of eighteen hundred and ninety-two, entitled 'An act to incorporate the city of Mount Vernon,' in relation to the current expense fund for the police and fire departments, and the total amount of the current expense budget."

which report was agreed to, and said bills ordered to a third reading.

The Assembly returned the Senate bill (No. 11, Int. No. 11) entitled "An act to incorporate The Church Extension Society of Buffalo, and define its powers," with a message that they have concurred in the passage of the same.

Ordered, That the Clerk deliver said bill to the Governor.

The President presented the report of New York Commission for the Blind, which was laid upon the table and ordered printed. (See Document.)

Mr. Walters moved that the Senate do now adjourn.

Mr. Davenport introduced a bill (Int. No. 896) entitled "An act to amend chapter three hundred and ninety-three of the Laws of nineteen hundred and six, entitled 'An act to create and estab lish a policemen's relief and pension fund for the police department of the city of Utica and authorizing the granting and payment of relief and pensions to the officers and members entitled thereto," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on affairs of cities.

Mr. Dowling introduced a bill (Int. No. 897) entitled "An act to amend the Workmen's Compensation Law, in relation to securing future payments of awards," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on the judiciary.

Mr. G. L. Thompson introduced a bill (Int. No. 898) entitled "An act to amend the Conservation Law, in relation to the taking of yellow perch," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on conservation.

Mr. Yelverton introduced a bill (Int. No. 899) entitled “An act to amend the charter of the city of Mechanicville, in relation to the salary of the commissioner of accounts; authority to raise money; water rents; and limitation of expenditures of said city," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on affairs of cities.

Also, a bill (No. 900) entitled "An act to amend the charter of the city of Mechanicville, in relation to the boundaries of said city," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on affairs of cities.
