No. 60) entitled “ An act for the relief of the Association for the Improved Instruction of Deaf Mutes, to authorize the sale, grant and conveyance of certain property from the city of New York to said association, and to authorize the sale, lease or mortgage of the property covered thereby," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on the judiciary. Also, a bill (Int. No. 61) entitled "An act to amend the Religious Corporations Law, in relation to the number of trus tees of Presbyterian churches," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on the judiciary. Mr. Dowling introduced a bill (Int. No. 62) entitled "An act to amend the Election Law, in relation to campaign receipts and payments," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on the judiciary.
