Mr. Kaplan introduced a bill (Int. No. 205) entitled "An act to amend the General Business Law, in relation to the sale of tickets of admission to theatres and places of amusement," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on the judiciary.

Also, a bill (Int. No. 206) entitled "An act to amend the General Business Law, in relation to reports of accountants," which was read the first time, and by unanimous consent was also read the second time, and referred to the committee on the judiciary.

Mr. Knight moved that the committee on the judiciary be discharged from the consideration of Senate bill (No. 77, Int. No. 77) entitled "Concurrent resolution of the Senate and Assembly proposing an amendment to section eleven of article eight of the Constitution, in relation to the Hospital Commission," and that the said bill be amended, reprinted and recommitted to the committee on the judiciary.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said motion, and it was decided in the affirmative.

The Assembly sent for concurrence a resolution, in the words following:

Whereas, A joint committee of the Senate and Assembly of the State of New York, consisting of two members of the Senate, appointed by the President of the Senate, and three members of the Assembly, appointed by the Speaker of the Assembly, was by joint. resolution of the Senate and Assembly of the State of New York created to investigate the conduct of the New York State School of Agriculture at Farmingdale, Long Island, the result accomplished by such school, the expense of its maintenance and such other matters in connection with such school as the committee deem advisable, with the usual powers conferred upon such committees; and

Whereas, The said joint resolution provided that such committee should report the result of its investigation to the Legislature on or before February first, nineteen hundred and nineteen, and thereafter its time to report was extended to February first, nineteen hundred and twenty, and

Whereas, Said committee has not yet completed its labors and is not yet ready to make its report to the Legislature; now, therefore, be it

Resolved (if the Senate concur), That such committee be continued, with the powers and duties heretofore conferred or imposed upon such committee, and that the time for it to make final report to the Legislature be extended to March first, nineteen hundred and twenty; and, further, be it

Resolved. That vacancies in the membership of such committee from the Senate be filled by the Temporary President of the Senate and from the Assembly by the Speaker of the Assembly.

The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said resolution, and it was decided in the affirmative.

Ordered, That the Clerk return said resolution to the Assembly, with a message that the Senate has concurred in the passage of the same.

The President presented the report of the New York State Hospital for the Treatment of Incipient Pulmonary Tuberculosis, which was laid upon the table and ordered printed.
