The following is a statement of the date of each accident, the place where it occurred, the train, the cause and the extent of the injuries inflicted upon each person, and the name of such person, as follows:

1870.

April 4. As train was approaching Winfield station, a man named Bryan jumped or fell off the platform in front of locomotive, and was instantly killed.

May 16. At Flushing, Main street depot, a colored woman, name not known, jumped off the car and broke her leg.

June 3. Man named Charles Griffin, in attempting to cross the track at Winfield, was struck by the locomotive and fatally injured; died after lingering for six days.

June 11. Locomotive struck and instantly killed a man named J. Alexander, at Dutch Kills, attempting to cross the track.
