Mr. Kennedy presented a petition of citizens of Livingston county, for alteration of the law in relation to the compensation of coroners; which was read and referred to the committee on the judiciary.

Mr. Opdyke presented a petition of Thomas Shedd, John Shedd and William Shedd, for relief, by release of the interest of the State in certain lands of which Joseph Bartrop died seized, which was read and referred to the committe on the petitions of aliens.
