XXXII. In adding another collection of Precedents in Conveyancing to the list already published, I owe it to the reader and to myself to say, that though, as an editor, I am answerable for whatever defects may be discovered and he who expects seek for what he can

perfection in such a work will

nowhere find;-yet the merits of the collectionand an editor may be excused for thinking them not inconsiderable-belong to others; whose names, if it were becoming to mention them, would alone afford sufficient reasons for this publication.

It was my intention to subjoin to the Forms such annotations as seemed necessary to elucidate the principles which they practically exemplify; but finding that this would trespass too much on the topics more appropriately discussed in the first volume, I was obliged to abandon, at least in great measure, this part of my design.

TITLE I.

OF CONSIDERATIONS.

I. NOW THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH, in pursuance and [further or part] performance of the said a ment on the part of the said A. (b) In addition to this general receipt and release, it is us indorse on the deed another receipt to be signed by the vendo duly attested.
