Sarah Heath worked in a mixed general veterinary practice after graduating from Bristol University but gradually developed her special interest in animal behavior. She now runs her own practice and behavioral consultancy and also lectures at the Royal Veterinary College and works as a visiting behavior counsellor at Bristol University. A founder member of the veterinary-based Companion Animal Behavior Therapy Study Group, she was the first veterinary member of the Association of Pet Behavior Counselors. She contributes regularly to a number of magazines and appears on television as an animal behavior expert.
