A DISMISSAL or PARTING HYMN.

UR fouls by love together knit,

OUR

Cemented mix in one;

One hope, one heart, one mind, one voice,
'Tis heav'n on earth begun:

Our hearts have burn'd while Jefus spake,
And glow'd with facred fire;
He ftop'd and talk'd, and fed and blefs'd,
And fill'd the enlarg'd defire..

CHORUS.

A Saviour! let creation fing!
A Saviour! let all heav'n ring!
He's God with us, we feel him ours,
His fullness in our fouls he pours,—
'Tis almost done.-'tis almost o'er,-
We're joining them who're gone before,
We then fhall meet to part no more.

We're foldiers fighting for our God,
Let trembling cowards fly,-
We'll ftand unfhaken firm and fix'd
With Chrift to live and die!
Let Devils rage, and Hell affail,-
We'll cut our paffage through,
Let foes unite, and friends defert,
We'll seize the crown our due.

A Saviour, &c.

The little cloud increases ftill,
The Heav'ns are big with rain;
We hafte to catch the teeming fhower,
And all its moisture drain:.

A rill, a ftream, a torrent flows,
But pour the mighty flood;

O! fweep the nations,-shake the earth;
'Till all proclaim thee God!

A Saviour, &c.

And when thou mak'st thy jewels up,
And fet'ft thy starry crown;
When all thy fparkling gems shall shine,
Proclaim'd by thee thine own,
May we, we little band of love,,
Be finners fav'd by grace,

From glory into glory chang'd,.

Behold Thee face to face!

A Saviour, &c.
