It is the beginning of what will doubtless prove a long line of important and valuable decisions. The fact of the affirmance or reversal of any of the decisions herein reported, by the Supreme Court of the United States, is noted at the end of the report of the case. Footnotes to some of the cases have been added, calling attention to valuable sources where the questions involved in or suggested by the case have been treated, in the hope that these sources of information may prove useful to the profession. |
