AN ACT appointing a State Printer.
[Passed January 13, 1840.]
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate
and Assembly, do enact as follows :
§ 1. Thurlow Weed of the city of Albany, is hereby, ap- T. Weed

form all the duties, and render all the services enjoined or re-
quired by law or by concurrent resolution of the senate and

valid as if this act had not been passed.
§ 3. The Printer to the state shall hold his office for the Term of of-

for the appointment of Secretary of State ; and any vacancy
occurring in the said office during the recess of the legislature
shall be supplied in the manner provided by law, in relation
to similar vacancies in the office of Secretary of State.
