On motion of Mr. Fish, and by unanimous consent, said bill was amended as follows:

Add as section 2 the following:

"§ 2. Nothing in this act contained shall be construed so as to affect or in anywise interfere with any of the provisions of chapters 219, 387 and 771 of the Laws of 1872."

Change section 2 to section 3.

Said bill, as amended, was then read a third time.

Substitute for section 1 the following:

"SECTION 1. The name of the corporation known as the Corning Circulating Library, incorporated under chapter 395 of the Laws of 1853, is hereby changed to the Corning Library."

The bill entitled "An act to authorize the First Reformed Protestant Dutch Church, in Clarkstown, in the county of Rockland, to apply certain moneys to the payment of the indebtedness incurred in the erection of an edifice for the education of the poor children belonging to said church," was read a third time.
